Nacer Barazite joins Vitesse Arnhem on loan

20 year-old Barazite, who was born in Arnhem, has made three Arsenal first team appearances, all in the Carling Cup, since joining the Club as a Scholar in Summer 2006.

Last season, Barazite appeared as a substitute in the Carling Cup victory over West Brom, but a shoulder injury then kept the Dutch forward out of action for four months, denying him further first team opportunities.

The Dutch youth international marked his return to the Reserve team in February with a fine goal against Stoke City and added to his tally against Aston Villa, Birmingham City and Portsmouth.

Barazite also gained valuable experience at Derby County, where he spent the entire 2008/2009 season with the Championship side.

Arsenal wenst Barazite veel succes op uitleenbasis bij Vitesse 

Nacer Barazite maakt het lopende seizoen af bij Vitesse, zo meldt Arsenal dinsdag op haar digitale thuis. De middenvelder wordt door de Londenaren aan de Arnhemse club verhuurd. Barazite, die de jeugdopleiding van NEC doorliep, speelde drie wedstrijden in het hoogste keurkorps van Arsenal.

Barazite (20) zag onlangs een verhuur naar Glasgow Rangers afketsen. Arsenal plukte Barazite in 2007 weg uit de jeugdopleiding van NEC. Tijdens het seizoen 2008/09 werd Barazite verhuurd aan Derby County, waar hij in dertig wedstrijden één keer tot scoren kwam.

"Ik wil eindelijk eens ergens op het hoogste niveau spelen", zei Barazite vorige week nog. "Voor Vitesse sta ik zéker open. Toen ik klein was, had ik er een seizoenkaart. Het lijkt me geweldig om nu voor Vitesse te spelen. Ik denk dat ik er goed zou passen."
